View (from property/room) in Millennium Downtown New York
I wanted to surprise my husband with a hotel room with a view for his first time in NYC. Wow the hotel room did not dissapoint-it was amazing .We had a corner King room with two huge windows and arrived at night-it was the first thing he noticed! It was amaying. Brooklyn Bridge and the river on one side and the tall skyscrapers of the financial district on the other. The room was big enoug hand cosy-very generous space and storage. It had a safe..and mini bar all the usual things in a hotel fo this standard. The bathroom was a bit tired-looking but was tidy and very big. The staff were friendly-at the bar and at check-in. Very efficient and friendly. The only thing that we were looking for was a restaraunt for breakfast-were told we can have room service. It seems the restaraunt is under construction but we were not bothered by this-gave us a chance to go and explore the buys financial district before it got busy and find a local cafe. What I liked was the price and the room-value for money.. Location is perfect-5 minutes walk to the 911 memorial and One Observation Tower. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a hotel and the Corner King Room with a WOW view especially for a first visit to NYC.

We had booked the King Suite which was 82sq metres and we weren't disappointed with the size, there were 4 of us and we had plenty of room. The extra toilet in the suite was very helpful along with the normal bathroom which had the bath, shower and another toilet in. Large bedroom and large lounge space were all perfect for what we wanted. The views from our suite were amazing we were situated on the 51st floor out of 55, and we had panoramic views of the Hudson, Downtown, Uptown and Brooklyn as we were on the corner we could see everything. Amazing views. Also the train links were amazing and so easy to use and saves so much money compared to getting Ubers or Taxi's, literally across the road is the main station which has several Subway lines as well as over ground trains, and almost all Subway lines were within a block or 2 walking distance which was fantastic.

The location is hard to beat ; penthouse of subway lines, 9/11 memorial and museum, Battery Park, Wall Street, etc everything is easily reachable by foot. The views were amazing although i was initially given a room on the 25th floor and I needed to ask to get an upper floor (got 46th) and I had to pay extra for that this time. Clean rooms. This was my second time in this hotel and I would happily come back here if I’m back in NY.

The location of the hotel is near everything from the metro to the most exceptional tourist spots. I liked that we were able to keep our luggages locked up at the lobby prior to check in as our flight was very early in the AM & we were able to roam around prior to check in. We also liked that employees are approachable when in need of help of getting taxis or directions to certain places.

The room's view was amazing, I enjoyed that. The location is perfect. For the price we paid, we had such great access to everything. Eataly is right there, as well as the Oculus. Lots of spots in walking distance, too, and our Lyft, Uber and DoorDash drivers could find the property easily if we didn't feel like going out to eat.
